The accolades just keep pouring in for Rihanna. The Bajan popular vocalizer is getting honored at the Parsons Schoolhouse of Blueprint Benefit 2017.

Last calendar month, she was honored at the Harvard's 2022 Humanitarian of the Year award for her charitable work involving her Clara Lionel Foundation. Now she is existence honored for her impact on the style world and of course for her philanthropy and music. Joel Towers, Parsons' executive dean, praises Rihanna for her contribution to the industry.

"Parsons is proud to present Rihanna with this honor, as she has inspired millions through her powerful music and distinct style," Towers told Hypebeast. "She has championed our recent alumni on a number of occasions by wearing their designs. She is also creating important philanthropic programs, which support communities by fostering effective education, health, and emergency response programs around the world through her Clara Lionel Foundation."

Rihanna is thrilled to be getting the laurels which will be handed to her at a ceremony at Pier 60 on May 22 this year.

"It's such a thrill to know that a design school as prestigious as Parsons School of Design would present me with this honor," the pop star said. "I consistently find creative and heady designs coming from Parsons alumni, so I feel a deep connection to the schoolhouse. But I am especially grateful that Parsons would recognize me for the work I've done in regards to philanthropy."

Rihanna is currently the creative director for her Fenty x PUMA line which is doing very well. She debuted her latest gears at the Paris Style Week bear witness earlier this month. The "Piece of work" vocaliser is currently gearing upwardly for a blockbuster year at the box office with some upcoming films in the works like Body of water Eight and the Scientific discipline Fiction Valerian and the Urban center of a G Planets. She too landed a role in the A&East hitting TV serial Bates Motel.
